(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis has decided that the Lenten Spiritual Exercises for the Roman Curia will be held in the “Casa del Divin Maestro” (House of the Divine Master) in Albano, which is run by the Pauline congregation. The retreat will be led by Roman diocesan priest, Msgr. Angelo De Donatis. It will begin the evening of March 9th, a Sunday, and run through Friday morning (14 March), which is the first week of Lent. According to a statement, the objective is to be able to reside in a place that is silent and reserved, far from the place of daily work, in order to better concentrate on the Spiritual Exercises.
